Join us in this beautiful, secluded Cotswold valley for six restful days. We will have plenty of time for ourselves, for connecting with others, for enjoying delicious food and the surrounding countryside. Within our schedule, we will focus on learning and experiencing the basic practices of mindfulness, which can help us both personally and professionally.
Many teachers and youth workers are already developing their own mindfulness practice and would like to take this into the workplace. This retreat will therefore offer the opportunity both to deepen our own practice and to develop strategies for introducing mindfulness in the classroom, school or work setting. We will have the opportunity to learn from the difficulties and successes that we have already met bringing mindfulness into education. We will also consider how we may support one another as a community of educators both during the retreat and thereafter. This retreat is suitable for all educators and will result in Wake Up Schools Stage 1 certification on completion.
This retreat is suitable for all educators. Facilitators include Michael Schwammberger, Miles Dunmore and Pilar Aguera, and will offered within the context the Plum Village Wake Up Schools initiative. Bed £360, Tent £260. Book Now
