His first &#8211; a collection of peace poems &#8211; came out in Saigon in 1949 when he was 24 years old. A year later he published &#8222;\u0110\u00f4ng Ph\u01b0\u01a1ng Lu\u1eadn L\u00fd H\u1ecdc&#8220; (&#8222;Oriental Logic&#8220; or &#8222;Buddhist Logic&#8220;). In this work of pioneering scholarship, he discussed Oriental and Buddhist logic (hetu-vidya, \u56e0\u660e) in the light of Aristotle, Hegel, Marx &amp; Engels.
