Online Summer Retreat from Verdelot

We invite you to 4 days of practice online together with the monks of Healing Spring Monastery and the nuns of La Maison de l’Inspir.

Connecting with each other, renewing the connection with the world around us.  Letting go of our anxiety and enjoying what is there.

Even if we can not yet welcome you in-person, our small and cosy center near Paris invites you to get to know our brothers and sisters and join us for a few days of summer retreat online, practicing sitting, walking and eating together as well as listening to dharmatalks, questions and answers and having the chance to share in small circles.

You can practice from your home or find another beautiful and quiet place to practice; alone or with friends. The retreat doesn’t just happen only during the times we are online. We continue to practice outside of these times, practicing mindfulness while preparing meals, washing dishes, walking from the kitchen to the bedroom, in the garden or going for a walk. During all these times, you will continue to be carried by the collective energy of the retreat. 

Time:  Thursday august 5 , 19h30 till Sunday August 8, 17h00

Place: by zoom, from Healing Spring Monastary

Language: This retreat will be half in English, half in French, with translation to the other language

Conditions: Everybody is welcome; beginner or longterm practitioner, Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, atheist or other.  However, we ask you to be present for all the sessions of the retreat and not to have other appointments during this period. This way, we can build together strong energy of mindfulness, concentration and connection.
