Wake Up Service Retreat

Update: This service retreat is now fully booked out!

Thank you for your generous heart and interest in being a volunteer at this special retreat for young people aged 18-35. We would like to invite experienced practitioners in our tradition to come and support us. Your help is essential as the monastics alone are not enough to care for all the needs in the retreat, such as guiding mindful service, translation, and transportation etc..

As the Wake Up Retreat is ONLY for people aged between 18-35, we also give priority to volunteers within this age group.

Volunteers will arrive a few days before the retreat to settle in and meet the monastics and the volunteer team. We will learn, practice, play, and prepare for the retreat together. During the retreat the monastics will guide and support you. Volunteers will also stay a few days after the retreat to help us and to join the farewell gathering. Arrival date is June 28 and departure date is July 12. You will be asked to camp during the retreat and contribute €100 for your stay.

Volunteers must provide a copy of ID card, proof of health insurance and visa if needed. Please note that we cannot consider your application if you have not practiced at one of the Plum Village centers before.

If you would like to volunteer with us, please fill out the form below and we ask for your understanding as it may take us a few weeks to reply to you.
