This talk details the practice of embracing and healing our wounded inner child through mindfulness and compassion. Many carry deep wounds from childhood, feeling pain from parents’ conflicts and unresolved suffering. Despite outward success, inner wounds persist, affecting adult lives. Through breathing, smiling, and meditation, acknowledge and comfort the inner child, offering compassion and healing. Visualize suffering, communicate with ancestors, and nurture inner peace. Engage daily with the inner child, fostering compassion and understanding. Through understanding suffering, compassion arises, healing ourselves and others. Finding solace in the Buddha’s presence, nurture peace, stability, and enlightenment within, sharing these qualities with all beings.
