The details of this discussion highlight the importance of mindfulness and walking meditation to access the kingdom of God and be fully present. By practicing mindfulness of breathing, one can dissolve blocks of suffering and recognize the wonders of life. The Buddha proposes several exercises: 1) mindfulness of breathing, 2) concentration on the in-breath and out-breath, 3) mindfulness of the body, 4) recognition of tensions and their release, 5) bringing joy and happiness by recognizing sensations and emotions, and subsequent exercises to relieve these sensations and emotions. Mindfulness allows us to manage suffering and generate joy and happiness. The Sangha helps to recognize and embrace pain without violence. Cultivating mindfulness during periods of calm helps to face suffering when it manifests. Mindfulness brings deep understanding and wisdom, transforming suffering into joy. Regular practice and the support of the Sangha are essential to manage suffering and avoid relapses like a past depression. Tomorrow, everyone will share their Dharma talk, followed by a lazy day and a question-and-answer session.
