Thich Nhat Hanh introduces listening to the chant and guides the movement from mindfulness of suffering to mindfulness of compassion for transformation and healing. At 14 minutes the monastics chant the name of Avalokiteshvara.

The main talk begins at 36 minutes: “Happy teachers will change the world.” Thich Nhat Hanh explores what to do when we hear the bell, how conscious breathing establishes us in the present moment and gives us the power to heal, and what walking meditation is and why we practice it.

Beginning at 60 minutes Brother Phap Dung and Sister Tue Nghiem explain the breathing practice, sitting practice, eating practice, and the practice of noble silence.
