The Sangha is gathered in England with almost four hundred people practicing mindfulness.

  1. How do you deal with the pain when your loved one just turns their back on you and walks out of your life?
  2. How can you talk to someone who is not open to the words that you want to say and cannot face what is inside them?
  3. Do we all embody in our past life some form of evil, and is retribution correct if someone is not good in this life?
  4. Can we remain a Jew or a Christian by practicing Buddhist meditation or practicing the Five Mindfulness Trainings?
  5. When one feels totally alienated from the institution and beliefs of the Irish Catholic Church but feels very close to the Buddha, how does one deal with the vulnerability of not being able to go back to one’s roots?
  6. From your point of view, how do you view the concept of God or higher power, and how do you see the role of prayer?
  7. Is it possible to receive and practice the Five Mindfulness Trainings without formally participating in the ceremony of transmission?
