This title has been reviewed for accuracy.
This talk details the essence of love as symbolized by Maitreya, the future Buddha, and the potential manifestation of Buddha as a compassionate Sangha. Each Sangha member embodies the Buddha, holding the potential for enlightenment. Beginning anew is crucial for transformation and healing, akin to turning sorrow into compassion. Embrace suffering as an opportunity for growth, recognizing it as a teacher guiding deeper connection with life’s beauty. Building supportive communities, Sanghas, is vital for mutual care and healing. The Sangha serves as a sanctuary, fostering mindfulness, compassion, and stability. With collective compassion, intelligence, and peaceful action, immense suffering can be alleviated, transforming violence into friendship. Modern medicine has significantly increased life expectancy in poor countries, and with global support, diseases like AIDS in Africa can be combated.
