The Ceremony of Asking for Forgiveness

During the Autumn Retreat of 2004 at Plum Village, the community gathered on time and harmoniously conducted the legal ceremony. The preceptor nominated four representatives from four temples, and the community silently approved. During the three-month retreat, the leaders endeavored to take care of the community and received feedback for improvement. Thầy Nguyễn Hải provided positive feedback but noted the need to better care for Western brothers and manage emotions. The Sangha acknowledged progress and supported each other through difficulties, especially expressing gratitude for the guidance from Thầy and the community. The Sangha concluded the ceremony with traditional prayers, thanking for the guidance and committing to continue to transform the mind.
