The Way Out Is In

Public
From the Living Gems Curation Team

This is a collection made for anyone who may be overwhelmed by the despair caused by the climate crisis and wishes to learn how to cultivate a spirit of no fear.

The playlist opens with three Q&A chapters in which Thay answers questions on despair and how to practice with it. In the third chapter, he expounds on the main theme of this playlist; going back home to yourself before acting in the world.

In the next four chapters, Thay teaches why it is important for activists to have a spiritual practice that renews their energy and keeps them from falling into despair.

The midsection of the playlist focuses on The 16 Exercises of Mindful Breathing and the important role they can play in helping us go back home to ourselves. It is a practical teaching on how these set of breathing exercises can help cultivate the spirit of no fear.

In the last three chapters of the collection, Thay explores what it looks like when our activism comes from a place non-fear. How to think speak and act like a real instrument of change in the world.

May you be fresh, solid and free.
