3 Modes of Cognition, 3 Natures, and 3 Spheres
The details of this discussion include the teaching of the Buddha’s mindful breathing, practicing inhalation and exhalation to be fully present, allowing the body and mind to rest and heal naturally. Mindful breathing helps to achieve freedom and relaxation, distancing thoughts and worries. The third exercise involves calming the physical body through breathing, meditating consciously and sending compassion and a smile to each part of the body. The breathing exercises include 16 essential practices. Consciousness contains the seeds of discrimination, ignorance, and attachment, influencing perceptions and creating erroneous representations of reality. The three spheres of cognition include the thing in itself, the representation, and simple images, while direct perception can be intuitive or require deduction. It is crucial to distinguish between beneficial and erroneous perceptions to develop deep understanding and authentic communication.
