This talk details Sudatta, a devoted disciple of Buddha known as Anathapindika, who embodied generosity and compassion, supporting those in need and offering a park to Buddha, leading to the establishment of Jeta Park monastery. Despite suffering, he practiced recollections guided by Sariputra and Ananda, focusing on Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, and Vinaya, realizing happiness and easing suffering. Recognizing that true selves transcend six senses (eyes, ears, tongue, nose, body, mind) and their perceived objects, they understood existence beyond physical aspects. Birth and death are transitions; true nature transcends these notions. Nirvana embodies freedom from concepts and opposites, realizing impermanence, no-self, and interbeing, cultivating insight and liberation from fear and suffering. Through mindfulness and concentration, profound peace and freedom are achieved, recognizing existence beyond superficiality.
