The details of this discussion include mindfulness practiced during the summer retreat to experience the unity of body and mind, access the wonders of life, and cultivate daily happiness through meditation on being and non-being. Right view, right thinking, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right diligence, mindfulness, and concentration are essential for a positive continuation based on karma. Understanding interbeing and deep meditation allow us to transcend the notions of birth and death, and to recognize the interconnection of all phenomena. Cultivating right thoughts, speech, and actions leads to inner peace and the reconciliation of relationships. Right diligence involves managing the seeds of anger and compassion present within us. Mindfulness and wisdom allow us to welcome our emotions with kindness. Cultivating good seeds in ourselves and in others transforms relationships and leads to happiness. International cooperation and the unity of religions are necessary to combat modern forms of slavery and promote peace and human dignity.
