Feedback

Brothers and sisters, the Dharmic stupa marks where the Buddha shared his first teaching on the Four Noble Truths, emphasizing suffering (dukkha) as the first truth. Suffering encompasses birth, aging, illness, death, unfulfilled desires, separation from loved ones, and clinging to the self. Understanding suffering reveals its origins (samudaya) and leads to its absence (nirodha), bringing joy. Buddhism offers paths to end suffering (Magha). Buddha taught impermanence and non-self, highlighting suffering arises from ignorance. Practicing joy (mudita) and embracing loving kindness, compassion, and equanimity (the Brahma-viharas) leads to enlightenment. Mahayana Buddhism emphasizes joy and correcting misunderstandings, highlighting the importance of bhikkhunis. Understanding Buddha’s teachings brings peace and joy, avoiding dogmatic practices.
