Each human being is a flower in the great garden of humanity: our true nature is blossoming, freshness, and joy. To restore it, hold a pebble in the palm of your hand and breathe mindfully:

  1. “Breathing in, I see myself as a flower
“Breathing out, I feel fresh as a flower”
  2. “Breathing in, I see myself as a mountain
    “Breathing out, I feel solid”
  3. “Breathing in, I see myself as still water
“Breathing out, I reflect things as they are”
  4. “Breathing in, I see myself as space
    “Breathing out, I feel free”

Meditation is not reserved for sitting: every moment—walking, eating, washing the dishes—becomes a practice of mindfulness. For walking meditation, coordinate each step with your breath:

  • One step + in-breath: “I have arrived”
  • One step + out-breath: “I am home”
By cultivating solidity, freedom, and joy in the here and now, we invest in a future founded on inner peace and shared well-being.
