French Dharma Talk No. 1 Summer 1994
The details of this discussion include the celebration of the moon festival with lanterns and delicious dishes, the importance of stopping to see deeply and love fully, mindfulness allowing us to touch reality deeply, and the daily practice called Bhavana to cultivate inner peace and happiness. By practicing mindfulness, one can love deeply and sincerely, listen attentively, and act with love and understanding. Avalokiteshvara listens deeply, Manjushri sees deeply, and Samantabhadra acts to relieve suffering. Cultivating love requires understanding and mindfulness, and practicing deep listening transforms relationships. Avalokiteshvara, Manjushri, and Samantabhadra are present within each of us, and it is essential to cultivate these qualities. Mindfulness guides every aspect of life, allowing for just and compassionate actions.
