Impermanence, No-Self, and Nirvana: The Three Dharma Seals in Buddhist Psychology

Thich Nhat Hanh · November 5, 1997 · Key West, Florida, United States
Feedback

Thay introduces the Three Dharma Seals: impermanence, no-self, and nirvana which all authentic teachings of the Buddha must contain.
In a deep and lovely explanation of the Three Natures of Reality, Thay reads from and explains in detail verses twenty-three through twenty-five and thirty-nine through forty-two of the Fifty Verses of Consciousness. He teaches the functions of the store consciousness, manas and introduces other consciousnesses.

This is the fourth talk in a series of eight given during the Opening the Door to Healing & Transformation retreat, on the teachings of Buddhist psychology, in the year 1997. Thay offered this talk in Key West, Florida, in the United States.
