Interbeing - Three Realms, Three Measures
Details of this Dharma Talk include Thich Nhat Hanh’s teachings on the misunderstanding of the concept of “Emptiness” and the distinction between “Emptiness” and “Non-being.” He warns of the dangers of mistranslation and emphasizes that right view is a crucial element in Buddhism. He explains that everything contains causes and effects, similar to matter and energy. He also speaks about the interdependence between form and emptiness, matter and spirit, and emphasizes that everything is in constant transformation. He provides a deep analysis of the interrelation between happiness and suffering, encouraging the acceptance of suffering to achieve happiness. He teaches that everything exists in dependence on each other, not independently, and that perception is always divided into the perceiving part and the perceived part. He also emphasizes that everything depends on the surrounding environment and that the contrast between subject and object is the foundation of perception.
