Mindfulness and Joy: A Summer of Practice and Community
Dear Sangha, today marks the start of our summer opening, inviting young members to explore enhancing their practice and finding joy in it. Reflect on practicing alone or with others, sharing with the community, joys and challenges in daily life, and aspirations. Discuss difficulties and joys at home, school, and society, envisioning happiness and necessary conditions. Practice mindfulness, embodying freshness like a flower, solidity like a mountain, tranquility like still water, and spaciousness. Mindfulness aids in recognizing and transforming habit energies, fostering positivity. Stay present, grounding in the now, practicing mindful breathing, walking, and eating. Cherish the Sangha’s support, embracing mindfulness for peace and joy.
