Sister Hy Nghiem shares the joy and peace she experiences while practicing sitting meditation, listening to the sound of birds, and feeling comfortable and light through the practice of mindfulness in all daily activities. Through this, she has recognized and transformed the three kinds of arrogance: (1) arrogance of superiority, (2) arrogance of inferiority, and (3) arrogance of equality, while at the same time strengthening solidity and ease, discovering mindfulness as the key to true freedom, even in tasks such as cleaning the toilet, washing dishes, or tidying the room.

The latter part of the Dharma talk examines the phenomenon of biological cloning, from Dolly the sheep to the applications of human cloning, accompanied by scientific, ethical, legal, and social perspectives. Based on the Avatamsaka Sutra and the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, the Dharma talk encourages bringing the insight of mindfulness into questions about self, the consequences, and the aspiration for inner freedom, emphasizing that only each present moment filled with mindfulness has the power to liberate, to nourish love and understanding in our lives.
