Difference of religions and superiority complex
When we speak of interreligious dialogue, most people claim to be tolerant while, deep down, believing that their own faith is superior. A book shows how, with a detached gaze, we can discover the beauty of Christianity that many Christians themselves ignore, and conversely, the beauty of Buddhism, in order to overcome complexes of superiority and make peace possible.

In the course of this talk, dated March 30, 1996, the following topics are addressed:

  1. Relieving the suffering of others through mindfulness and the practice of “I am here for you”
  2. The notion of karma: positive and negative seeds, hell and hungry ghosts (ngạ quỷ) as scientific realities
  3. Silence: oppressive or eloquent, the art of presence, “noble silence” during retreat
  4. Compassion: the energy born from understanding, essential for happiness and communication
  5. Organ donation: the body as a condition for the manifestation of mental states, a natural act of compassion
  6. Compatibility between Buddhism and Christianity: non-self and interbeing in the flower, mindfulness and the Holy Spirit as joint narratives of the spiritual heritage
