Thich Nhat Hanh: Good morning, dear friends. Today we have a session of questions and answers. A good question is a question that has to do with our suffering, with our practice. A question asked well can be of benefit to many friends. So, please ask the question from your heart. If a question has been born in your heart, I invite you to come and sit close to Thay.

Sangha Member, Question: Dear Thay, dear Sangha. Yesterday, on three occasions, you told us that we cannot survive without food. And recently I saw a film that disturbed me a great deal, and intrigued me a great deal, a film called Light, by an Austrian director named Peter Arthur Straubinger. And this gentleman highlighted precisely the fact that one could nourish oneself solely with prana. Prana as food. So, beyond the anecdote that one might believe, is there any truth to this prana? Is it possible to nourish oneself solely with light? We saw testimonies in this film where people, and even scientists, experimented with the fact that one could be nourished, without eating, without drinking, for years, with the energy of prana. That is my question, dear Thay.
