- When breathing out, allow your abdomen to gently descend, ensuring all stale air is released. As you breathe in, feel the fresh air filling your lower abdomen first, then rising to your chest. Start your practice by listening to the bell, then focus on your breath. Notice the sequential rise of your abdomen followed by your chest. Observe the movement of your abdomen without external aids. Focus on your breath, feeling the movement in your abdomen and chest. Exhale, noticing the smile on your face and relaxing all facial muscles. With the second bell, continue breathing and smiling, sending your smile and love to your right arm. Smile to areas of pain or discomfort, acknowledging and caring for each part. Send your breath to different parts of your body with each exhale. Return to your abdomen at the sixth bell, breathing deeply like a gentle wave. Smile and feel the joy spread throughout your body, releasing tension. Begin with gentle music, then let it fade. Lie without a pillow, arms by your side, and breathe naturally. Inhale deeply at the bell, smiling as you exhale. With each breath, smile into different body parts, releasing tension from shoulders to fingers, then to your right foot, left arm, and left foot. Finally, send your awareness to your mind. Return to your abdomen on the next bell, smiling as you breathe out. Release all resistance, holding onto only your breath and smile.
