Feedback

Thay underlines the importance of the Sangha and answers some questions about how to handle difficult situations and relationships with the help of the Eyes of the Sangha instead of making decisions on own’s own. Thay demonstrates and talks extensively about the Three Touchings of the Earth, a Plum Village practice that can help heal and transform everything that is a burden to us entrusting it to Mother Earth which has the capacity to receive, embrace and transform.

Thay also shares about the then new Green Mountain Dharma Center, recently established in Vermont and the plans the Fourfold Sangha is making about it, especially its importance for the North American community of practice.

This is the eleventh talk in a series given during The Path of Emancipation, twenty-one-day retreat in the year 1998. Thay offered this talk at St. Michael’s College, Burlington, Vermont, in the United States.
