Building supportive communities, Sanghas, is vital for mutual care and healing. The Sangha serves as a sanctuary, fostering mindfulness, compassion, and stability. With collective compassion, intelligence, and peaceful action, immense suffering can be alleviated, transforming violence into friendship. Modern medicine has significantly increased life expectancy in poor countries, and with global support, diseases like AIDS in Africa can be combated.
