The Path That Leads to Healing and Happiness
May 17, 2012. 116-minute Day of Mindfulness recording given at Upper Hamlet, Plum Village by Thich Nhat Hanh. At the beginning there were some difficulties with the translation setup; Thay starts in French, but after about twelve minutes continues the talk in English, with French translation provided on the right channel.
Today we are stepping from the Four Noble Truths into the Noble Eightfold Path. Mindfulness, Concentration, and Right View are the first three elements of the path. Right View is the foundation for all the other elements and the foundation for applied ethics. Thinking, Speech, Action, Livelihood, and Diligence all have their foundation in Right View.
