The Practice of Blooming a Thousand-Petaled Lotus: Commentary on the Daily Zen Chanting
“The Daily Practice of Blooming the Thousand-Petaled Lotus” (CPNĐSNC) is a series of Dharma talks in which Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh explains in detail the sutras, chants, repentance texts… from the 2000 edition of the Plum Village Chanting and Recitation Book. Currently, the book has a few new chants added, but all the essential sutras and chants remain unchanged. Through this series of Dharma talks, listeners will gain a deeper understanding of the sutras and chants practiced in the daily chanting sessions. The teachings were recorded between 1997 and 1999; due to the technological limitations of that time, the audio and video are not very clear, and we ask for the Sangha’s joyful understanding.
