The details of this discussion include the importance of mindfulness to recognize and transform each moment into happiness, practiced through five mantras: “Dear friend, this is a moment of happiness,” “I am here for you,” “Darling, I know you are there,” recognizing the presence of the other, and offering support in case of suffering. Mindfulness helps to understand and share the pain, expressing one’s emotions honestly to reduce suffering. Meditation and right thinking allow us to transcend dualities and see the interconnection of all things, leading to wisdom and liberation. The five mindfulness trainings represent the Buddha’s teachings to transform suffering into happiness. A caring community, or sangha, is essential to practice together and protect the planet. Three sisters and four brothers will organize practices in England, including a three-day retreat at Kenwell Hall. For 40 euros per month, it is possible to practice and learn French, offering support and commitment to mindfulness.
