Una Consumazione Consapevole per il Nostre Benessere
This talk details the Peace in Action retreat’s final day, highlighting aspirations as nourishment akin to Buddha’s desire for transformation. It identifies four types of nourishment: physical food, sensory input, mindful consumption, and aspirations. Mindful consumption is crucial to avoid harmful emotions and heal body and mind. Reflect on deepest desires, surround oneself with positive influences, and practice mindful breathing to cultivate awareness. Follow breath mindfully, recognize positive elements, practice calming emotions, and explore mental formations. Concentration on impermanence and non-craving leads to transformation. Nirvana transcends notions of birth and death, accessible in the present moment. Gratitude is expressed to organizers and volunteers, celebrating interconnectedness and embodying peace and goodness. Domus Fraternum aims to foster encounters with God through welcoming presence and service. Volunteers and staff create a welcoming atmosphere to share peace and goodness. Gratitude is extended to organizers Beppe, Giovanni, Mario, and Fabio’s father Mario for contributions.
