My name is Vashti. Why do people have wars? Why do people have a war? Why do people have war, fight each other?

Answer

Why do people fight each other? Because they do not have the time to transform the anger, the violence, the delusion, the misunderstanding in themselves. We are so busy. So busy making money. And we don't have the time in order to learn how to transform the violence, the fear, the anger, the misunderstanding in us. That is why we are making war.

And that is why the Buddha told us you should live in such a way that you have time in order to to practice transforming the anger, the fear, the jealousy, the violence in you. Thank you for the question. Wonderful question. The question we breathe in and out three times with the bell. So the question will be a good one.
