This talk details the fallibility of our perceptions, the nature of consciousness, and the concept of alaya, or store consciousness, which is always active and interconnected with the collective. It remains unaffected by other consciousnesses and continuously flows and changes. The five universal mental properties—contact, advertence, feeling, perception, and volition—are integral to all consciousness and function within the store consciousness. Alaya encompasses all dharmas, representing both physical and mental aspects, and exemplifies the idea that the one contains everything. Through understanding interdependence and practices like acupuncture or reflexology, we can grasp the interconnected nature of our consciousness beyond individual or collective identities. The ultimate reality or nirvana, akin to water as the basis for all waves, resides within us, within the seed in our store consciousness.
