Sitting Meditation 4
The World Honored One taught that whenever four or more people come together to live and practice the path of precepts, concentration, and insight, the Buddha is present. Coming from many different directions, the community lives as a Sangha, going as a river and operating like a beehive to continue wisdom and love. With the signless eye, the presence of the World Honored One is seen in every moment of daily life.
Realizing this presence brings great happiness. A vow is made to practice in such a way that brings the Buddha to many people and species, sharing peace and happiness in order for suffering to stop. The Sangha body is the true body. Breathing in, the Sangha body is seen breathing in. Breathing out, the Sangha body is seen smiling. Unifying the whole being in mindfulness, the joy of living becomes possible for every species.
