The Mind of Non-Discrimination
This Dharma Talk focuses on seeing the formless nature in all things, illustrated through examples such as a corn seed becoming a corn plant and a cloud transforming into rain. Thich Nhat Hanh explains that everything is neither born nor destroyed and is in constant transformation. He emphasizes that each person contains the lineage of their ancestors and has the responsibility to transmit positive values to future generations. He warns that negative emotions lead to negative consequences, such as the suicide rate in France, which is about 12,000 cases per year. He encourages the practice of Mindfulness, Concentration, and Insight to maintain a clear mind and transmit beautiful values. He explains that positive transmission is like the knowledge passed from a corn seed to a corn plant, and every action is a way of transmitting influence to the future.
