The Ultimate Dimension Is Present in the Historical
The details of this discussion evoke Maitreya, the future Buddha of love, and explain that becoming a Buddha involves developing deep understanding and universal compassion. Being human is essential to becoming a Buddha, symbolizing the non-duality between Buddha and human. By developing mindfulness, concentration, and insight (Smriti, Samadhi, Prajna), each person can awaken their inner Buddha. Every mindful action, such as drinking tea or walking, becomes a sacred ceremony. Reality has two dimensions: historical and ultimate. In the historical dimension, becoming a Buddha involves time and evolution, while in the ultimate dimension, each person is already a Buddha. Every being possesses the Buddha nature, and recognizing this essence leads to transcending suffering and complexes. Being fully present allows one to touch this ultimate dimension, realizing unity with oneself and one’s ancestors. Each individual is already perfect, and finding peace and happiness within oneself is essential according to Buddhist teaching.
