Zen and the Art of Mindful Calligraphy

with Sister Hoi Nghiem and Sister Sung Nghiem

In this course, we will bring our minds back to our bodies and bring our mindfulness and concentration to the art of calligraphy.  This is a way of enjoying the present moment and not of trying to attain perfection. 

Our mindful practice helps us relax and treasure the moment of being together with brush, ink, and paper. The practice of calligraphy is embedded in a schedule with sitting meditation, walking meditation, mindful and silent meals, deep relaxation, etc.
