In the depth of winter, a forest knows how to listen deeply, accept, and to wait for life.
Sister Thuan Khanh
When we look into a winter forest, we see that it is conserving energy – storing all its remnant vitality and embracing itself with utter tenderness and perseverance.
Can we as practitioners learn and live this lesson from the forest?
This one-week (Friday, Jan 6 – 13) of general practice will be an opportunity for us to nourish our spiritual roots. We welcome you to join the flow of the residential community and together, to cultivate the art of walking, sitting, eating, working, and listening to ourselves and others with true presence and love.
Please note that unlike the themed retreats, general practice week retreatants will mostly follow the activities of the residential community. There will also be sessions designed to suit retreatants who are new to the practice.
