About the Role
Plum Village is seeking an experienced video editor to support the creation of online Dharma course content. This role is part of the Plum Village Online Monastery team, helping bring teachings to life through thoughtful, engaging, and beautifully crafted video.
You will collaborate closely with our content and production teams to shape meaningful learning experiences for a global audience. The ideal candidate combines strong storytelling and audiovisual skills with sensitivity to the essence of mindfulness practice.
Your Contribution
- Edit video content from initial brief through to final delivery
- Shape narrative-driven content for online courses and teachings
- Ensure high production quality, including pacing, sound, and visual tone
- Collaborate with the content team to align visual storytelling with Dharma teachings
- Adapt content for digital platforms and the Online monastery website
What You Bring
- A strong portfolio demonstrating narrative storytelling (documentary, short film, educational content, or similar)
- Proficiency in editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
- A refined sense of pacing, structure, and emotional resonance
- Experience with color grading and audio cleanup
- Ability to work independently and make thoughtful editorial decisions
- Interest in mindfulness, meditation, or Dharma teachings (highly valued)

Compensation
