Inner Change for Systems Change: Kate Raworth & Brother Phap Linh

Thursday 24th September | 7:30 – 8:30pm CEST

Join Kate Raworth & Brother Phap Linh for a live conversation exploring the relationship between inner change and systems change.

Please note: tickets will display in your local time zone.

Around the world, we’re witnessing the breakdown of systems that no longer serve us. As the climate crisis, social injustice and deep inequalities accelerate, those who have contributed the least continue to bear the greatest impacts. How can we shift beyond “business as usual” and fundamentally change the status quo?

As Thich Nhat Hanh shared, “We cannot change the world if we are not capable of changing our way of thinking, our consciousness.”

Many of us are already working towards justice; feeling frustrated we can’t do more. We know that deep transformation is needed. Alongside resisting harmful systems, we’re being called to imagine and build new ones. But where do we begin?

Together, we’ll explore questions such as:

  • What does it mean to create change from the inside out?
  • How can inner transformation strengthen our response to the polycrisis?
  • What could it look like to build systems rooted in interdependence, to help our personal, collective and planetary wellbeing thrive?

Whether you’re an activist, educator, student, working in the climate sector, or simply somebody who cares about the Earth, you’re invited to join us. We look forward to seeing you there.

This event is inspired by the Zen and the Art of Saving the Planet (ZASP) online course, and is open both to those who are new to ZASP and those who have done the course.
