For us, our ideal, our hope can only be realized if we have a solid, beautiful community.
Thich Nhat Hanh
From July 10th – August 2, 2025, Plum Village will welcome practitioners of all ages to build a beloved community. While we will host special programs for families with children and teens, there is also a dedicated and full program for adults. Whether you are coming alone or with family, there will be a meaningful retreat experience for you.
Registration
Spaces for single individuals and couples (without children) will be available in all 3 hamlets.
Registration will open on Saturday 15th March 3pm CET (France time).
When registering, please choose your preferred hamlet, gender identity, and Dharma Sharing Family, keeping in mind that availability may vary based on language, gender, or family status.
Dharma Sharing for People of Color/BIPOC in Upper Hamlet
We are offering Dharma Sharing groups for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), and those who identify as such can choose to join this group if they wish.
Aware that People of Color, as individuals and communities, may have similar lived experiences, including of intended and unintended discrimination, we provide circle sharing groups offered by an experienced facilitator, in which People of Color can express themselves freely and feel safer. It is reserved for People of Color only, in order to cultivate an environment that can support our individual and collective transformation and healing. This group will be in English and is only in week 1 and 3 in the Upper Hamlet.
Note that the British use the acronym BAME, meaning Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic.

Volunteering
The Summer Opening is not possible without the support of our volunteers. In order to truly offer stability and peace to the retreat, we prioritize volunteers who can make a one month commitment (arrive on July 4 and depart on August 5).
