Plum Village is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Lower Hamlet community for a 6 weeks – 8 month stay to support us in landscaping and flower gardening.
Availability for a stay of at least 6 weeks.
As a volunteer, you will help us care for our gardens and natural surroundings, contributing to the beauty and sustainability of Plum Village. Tasks may include planning and maintaining green spaces, planting and tending to flowers, and supporting other nature-based projects.

- Availability for a stay of at least 6 weeks
- A strong interest in nature, gardening, or landscape design
- Willingness to work outdoors in various conditions
- Openness to community life and the daily schedule of practice (meditation, mindful meals, etc.)
This is a unique opportunity to deepen your mindfulness practice while making a tangible contribution to the land and gardens of Plum Village.

Important Information:
- From May to September, volunteers are asked to camp due to limited indoor accommodation. During this period, we kindly request a monthly contribution of €400 to support program, meals and shared facilities.
- If you volunteer before May and stay in indoor accommodation, you’ll receive a 50% discount on the regular price.
- All successful applicants must have their own health insurance before coming.
- Visa applications and travel arrangements are the responsibility of the volunteer.
