Longer introduction

TITLE: Responding to the Climate Crisis with Mindfulness and Compassion: A 7-Week Online Course

COPY: The climate crisis can leave many of us feeling overwhelmed, anxious or powerless. How can we stay present and engaged without becoming consumed by despair? How do we care deeply for the Earth, ourselves and one another?

Zen and the Art of Saving the Planet (ZASP) is a 7-week online course rooted in the teachings and practices of Plum Village, founded by Thich Nhat Hanh. It offers a space to pause, reconnect and explore how mindfulness can support us in responding to the challenges of our time with greater clarity, courage and compassion.

Through live sessions with monastic teachers, guided practices, teachings and reflection, you’ll explore how to meet difficult emotions such as eco-anxiety, grief and overwhelm, strengthen your relationship with the Earth, and find ways to bring mindful awareness into meaningful action.

You’ll also join a global community of people taking meaningful action together.

“I feel absolutely transformed. I was reminded to make time in my short life for the breath, the trees, the forest.” – Jawno Okhiulu, ZASP alumni

Registration is now open for the next cohort, beginning October 18th.
