Calming the Fearful Mind

A Path Out of Uncertainty and Towards Peace

If you don’t have the qualities of stability, peace, and freedom inside of you, then no matter what you do, you cannot help the world

Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh

Join the Lower Hamlet Sisters of Plum Village for an inspiring extended 5-day retreat experience online. Suitable for those with study or work commitments.

Is it possible to navigate an increasingly bewildering world with calm and non-fear? How do we cultivate the clarity and stillness that allow us to address the fears and tensions running through ourselves, our loved ones, communities, and the world?

Join us on this retreat experience to cultivate the inner powers of mindfulness, concentration and insight; and how to meet difficult moments with non-fear, solidity, hope, and compassion.

The Sisters of Lower Hamlet

It is not about “doing” something, it’s about “being” something-being peace, being hope, being solid-every action will come out of that, because peace, stability, and freedom always seed a way to express  themselves in action
