We would like to invite you to celebrate Vesak Day 2020 at Plum Village.
 - Traditionally, the monastic community organizes to celebrate Vesak together. This year we celebrated it separately in three hamlets. It’s a chance for us to express our respect and gratitude to the Buddha, the one who shows us the way to live happily.
 - On the full moon of the lunar calendar in April.
 - A blooming water lily welcomes the Vesak Day.
 - How auspicious to start the day with a Dharma talk “The Path of the Buddha” from Br. Phap Ung in Upper Hamlet, while the rest of the world joined via the live stream.
 - Music always goes straight to the heart.
 - The ceremony to celebrate Vesak – the birth of the Buddha, his enlightenment, and his passing into parinirvana.
 - A solemn moment…
 - … with body, speech and mind in oneness.
 - I follow in the footsteps of the Buddha.
 - Buddha smiles to see his continuation.
 - Namo Shakyamunaye Buddhaya
 - Today we bathe the Tathagata. Deep wisdom and clarity bring great happiness…
 - …May all living beings who are overwhelmed by suffering See the Dharmakaya in this very world.
 - A chance to renew our monastic vow brings much happiness.

 - Bathing baby Buddha is also refreshing our Buddha nature.
 - “Papa, can I bathe the baby Buddha too?”
 - A fan dance offers joy to the Sangha.
 - All living beings rejoice.
